Our Story
Chris had already resigned himself to the idea of getting off dating apps when he matched with Katie. And she was looking for her “needle in a haystack” when Chris’ profile appeared. He could tell from her profile she was a true Christian, loved serving other people, and could possibly match his Harry Potter fandom…and he was the man of faith, height, and a charming smile that she was looking for.
As we messaged back and forth, the conversation flowed easily and the excitement for both of us grew.
By the time we had our 1st date, Chris admits his hopes were up. Katie had exceeded all his expectations and has continued to do so. Katie was enchanted by his ability to lead, make her laugh, and make her feel like the most beautiful girl in the room.
We have truly enjoyed our time together and continue to grow in love more and more. From trivia dates, to cuddling on the couch, traveling together, and all the other time we’ve spent, we’ve never been even close to bored and we look forward to spending the rest of our lives together!

By what date do I need to RSVP?
March 30th, 2025
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at any hotels?
No, simply put, most of our guests live in the valley so we don’t have enough out-of-town guests to create a block.
However, we have recommended a few hotels in different price ranges that are near the wedding venue. Check them out under the section above called “Accomodations”.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The plan is for the full event to be outdoors. The entire area is paved and there will be plenty of seating. Water will be available throughout.
What is the dress code for the wedding/reception?
Please dress comfortably in dressy casual attire, it is Phoenix at the end of May after all…
We’re going for a backyard desert vibe so keep it nice but simple (and yes, sandals are ok!). Hey, it’s a dry heat!
Are children allowed?
We want everyone to enjoy a night out so we kindly ask that you arrange for a babysitter so you can fully enjoy the evening.

Is it ok to post wedding photos on social media?
We ask that you refrain from posting photos during the ceremony, but we encourage you to share photos with us during the reception.
Will there be meal options for guest with dietary restrictions?
We plan to have a chicken or beef option for our reception.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to the address listed in the registry. A card box will be at our reception.
What time will the reception end?
Due to a noise ordinance, the wedding reception will end at no later than 8:30pm.
